Are My Shocks Rebuildable?
We are only able to rebuild and tune shocks that are rebuildable. To find out if you shocks are able to be rebuilt first look at the bottom of the shock, specifically where the rod enters the body. There are two types of rebuildable shocks, one where the gland is held in with a c-clip and one where the gland is threaded into the body. For the c-clip style you will look to see if there is a cap that is a separate piece from the body. For a screw in style, you will either see 2 to 4 holes drilled in the gland or a large hex shape.
NON-REBUILABLE shocks will have rod gland crimped into the body, you will see no seams along the edge of the body and will look like it's all one piece to the rod.
